Longtown MTI’s mix of advice, encouragement and, when needed, grant funding, can be a huge boost to the growth and development of a business as well as a confidence boost and support for the owner and any staff.
Networks
We would like to encourage Longtown area businesses with a shared interest to come together. By coming together as a group, businesses can often achieve more than if they were operating alone, particularly if they are facing a common obstacle.We already have a local Tourism Network which is looking at improving the visitor literature available on the area and we are running joint training courses such as Welcome Host.

Advice
Longtown MTI aims to put you in contact with other organisations which also have public funding to help you develop and run your business. Knowing which organisation to go to for answers to certain types of problems or for advice on specific subjects can be like finding your way through a maze.
